Is it normal that i'm scared of watching the tmnt 2003 series?

I am and always have been a light, Comedy loving person, therefore i love the 1987 TMNT Series. but i seriously won't watch over 3 minutes of TMNT 2003 in fear i might like it better and become a completely different person.

    Heh! The only one I watched was 2003 an now 2012!

    I love the Full Metal Alchemist anime, and for years I didn't want to watch Brotherhood for fear that it would ruin the whole thing. I watched it, and I like Brotherhood much more. In the end, I'm still the same person, and I still like everything else I've ever liked.

    Was that the animated series?

    There's no need to be scared, both were good shows. However, I think the animated one lasted for many years.
