I had the same effin problem with a huge ass moth one time. Every time I tried to kill it, it would pull ninja and disappear. Then every time I Went back to bed It would keep me up fluttering around and bumping into shit. I tried killing it like 5 times then I gave up and went back to bed. Everything got quiet so I assumed the fucker found my nice clothes to eat then I felt something on my leg. I lifted the covers up and... that huge moth was on my leg. I screamed like a bitch and did that bee dance where you think theres a hive in your clothes. I know moths dont bite but theyre creepy as fuck. Afterwords I watched three hours of football to retain and preserve my masculinity.

Currently crying at 1:22am because im an emotional wreck and there was atleast 3 moths in my room and some weird huge spider and i hate rhem so i tried killing the spider i slammed a book against it and nothing happened. So I screamed without realising and my mum yelled at me then one moth flys into my eye i screech and fall off my bed and then i managed to kill both then the 3rd one was right above my head when I finally laid down and I screamed so muchthen slammed a book against it . All my life ive refused to have my bedroom window open. The one time i do i have a family of moths invading me. My moth phobia started when i was on my old bunk bed and i was on the bottom bink holding onto the bar and i feel something go on my hand. I look over SOME HUGE MOTH WAS JUST SITTING THERE.

This is me at the moment. I came back from my late shower to be greeted to a huge moth fluttering around the light. I ran off to get my mom out of bed. After some crazy towel wacking in her part, we presumed it gone. I knew it'd suddenly pop up, but was hoping and praying that wouldn't happen. An hr later i see something flutter across the room. It was hauntingly still for a long while, until i risked aiming a book at it. I failed of course. It started fluttering around crazy and i screamed and hid under the covers. It is now closer too me then it was before. I dont know how no one manged to wake up from all the noise i made. I dont want to call for help becuase its late, but i dont know how im going to get through tonight. And even if i did call for help, my doors locked, so id have to get to the other side of the moth on the celing to open it and let help in. So yeah im helplessly alone and terrified. Fuck i think its moving closer.

having one in your room is fucking aweful....BUT HAVING ONE IN YOUR FUCKING CAR IS 50 MILLION TIMES WORSE...

one time i was going out one of those shits and it was a huge ass one flew right in my car as soon as i opened the door and in a fear i shut the door closed and locked my car and i am like the hell i do now that bitch is inside my car..one option was to burn my car lol ok not really..then it set on one of my windows and i remembered a trick..i can lower all four windows using the remote so i did..and i thought it would fly off.............it didn't..it go squashed in the window rail and it wouldn't go up or down and i freacked the fuck out like how the fuck i amm gonna explain this to the nissan dealer and my parents..i went to the dealer and apart from them laughing their asses off right in my face they removed that bitch, cleaned the window rail and acruators and that was it...but that shit was freacky and scary

My wife hates moths also. She fearlessly squashes spiders between her fingers, but she freaks out over a little moth. I try to tell her they're just like butterflies, but that doesn't help. She has to kill them and get rid of the threat.

I am the exact same way! I am absolutely terrified of them. I once had one in my room and I stayed up all night and if I couldn't see it I got so freaked out and hid under my covers. I feel for you :(

I fear all bugs so I understand completely. If there's any kind of bug or insect indoors that I know is alive and hanging around, I can't sleep comfortably. Killing it is also never an option for me as I ain't going near it, haha. I spot it, keep my eye on it, and call someone else to kill it like my dad or fearless grandmother. :D As for the moth, though, turning on a light elsewhere and leaving the door open ajar will at least get it out of your room, like Kerris said, then someone can take care of it later.

Hang a turd on a rope from your ceiling. The moths will be attracted to shit naturally (they are in your room, AREN'T THEY?). The moths will cling to the shit trap and wah-lah, you're all set!

Or try turning on your light and wait for it to fly up there, then kill it yourself. A cat would definitely help. My Pumpkin catches all bugs that happen to come indoors.

They have that broad, meaty carapace like Tarantulas which scare the heck out of me. I feel yah. Try turning the lights off in your room, slightly opening your bedroom door and turning a light on in the hall way. This might lure it out of your room after a few minutes.

Get a cat. They love catching and eating moths. It's good for them, too.
