I'm a high school junior, I have to take my TAKS tests in 2 weeks!:( if you don't know what TAKS is, it is an exit exam to determine if you graduate or not. I have sucked at math my whole life, and the math test will be difficult for me! and science, Well, I'm afraid of that test too!:( do any of you have a testing strategy for me? Help me please? I really need help!

    Here's a good tip for passing Math Tests-

    When you're looking for the Common Denominator just take away the LAST digit of the first number and the FIRST digit of the last number.

    Observe-

    16/64

    Take away the 6 (in 16) and the 6 (in 64) gives us --> 1/4.

    Bam! A much easier way to find the Common Denominator.

        It seems I was wrong. After doing some further calculations I see that this was an Outlier.

        My apologies. Why are you assuming I'm a Troll though? We all make mistakes.

            Aye, I understand. I would have thought the same.

            It's always difficult to discern intent through the Internet so more often than not new ways of thinking are seen as Trolling. It's a comon error. But I guess to be human is to hold assumptions.

    Don't worry! I just took the TAKS math last week and its SUPER EASY. And did I mention that I'm not good at math? You'll do fine. To me, all the TAKS test are extremely easy. Goodluck.

    I am ALWAYS bad at math if i do something wrong my teacher yells at me.So try to get a turtorer!

    Do they allow open book testing?

    I don't know how they expect people to remember all that math. They're herbal supplements you can take for boosting your memory, but would that be considered cheating?
