I heard that in catholic school they don't believe in sex education, that way when they fuck you in the broom cupboard you won't know what just happened.
I think the standard of sex education is ridiculous. And although it's very common, it's not normal. I genuinely don't understand it either, why are people so sensitive about the topic of sex, to the point that it can't even be mentioned? It really does baffle me!
Exactly! Everyone knows that when a man and a woman love each other very much, they kiss and then the baby comes out of the woman's butthole.
...right guys?
Smh. I can't believe you don't know this already.
When Mummy and Daddy love each other VERY much (which is a miracle in itself) they soften the lighting, maybe get out some candles, light the fire, get out a rug.
Then Daddy organises a special harness and fits it to the ceiling. Mummy wears a pig mask, Daddy wears scuba gear. They put their favourite HR Puff'n'Stuff record on AND ITS ON FOR YOUNG AND OLD!!!!
Or young and/or old, depending on the local laws.
THAT'S WHERE BABIES COME FROM! DUHH!
I've never had a sex ed class either. It's a pity, actually. I could have taught my teachers a couple of things...
And people wonder why HIV, other genital diseases and unwanted pregnancies are such a huge problem...
Sex-ed significantly reduces your chances of screwing your life up on the sexual plane.
Besides, religion and sexuality doesn't go along that well, you don't need to be a genius or an atheist to understand that.
Just sayin'
I went to a Catholic school and got a reasonable sex education. Reasonable being the operative word, it wasn't fantastic. But I was lucky since I have a mum who had always educated me on sex which don't follow Catholic views.
Some people at my high school didn't have parents or a trusted adult they could turn to and it's not fair on them.
Well, some of us took school before sex ed was mandatory, so it's not all that abnormal.
Ok so blame your parents for spending the money sending you to a private school.
Thats strange only because I went to catholic school myself and we had sex ed class. It was called Religion class and the topics we covered were
"Your going to hell if you have sex"
"Masterbation is for the damned"
"Jesus hates those that have premarital relations"
neh! it was nothing like that for me my teacher(the monk) said sex is only a sin if you doo it just for the fun of it, premarital sex wasn't a problem to him as long as you doo it to express your allready present love.
masturbation he said was bad but you wount go to hell for it, the only thing he was realy against was abortion, that was murder to him.
he didn't talk mtch about gays but he did mention that he considerd it the same as strait people (sex is ok only if it's for love), then again half my school was gay or bi :L .
i still kida agree with him he was defenetly a "modern monk" :) thou it is true that north Italian catholics are more modern and tollerant than most other coutrys
sex-ED in my school was taught buy our relligion teacher, who was a monk, it was kinda funny because there he was in his brown robe sworn to a life of selebacy teaching us how to put a condom on or thelling us about various STDs,me and my friends couldn't help but laught about it arfter class.
surprisingly he was quite a good theacher telling us not only the "physical" but the "emotional" stuff as well, made me wonder how a man who supposedly has never done it now so much about it :/
Never took a sex ed class in public shcool. I dont even think theres one in my school either.
Well, in most school nowadays they have Health class as opposed to sex ed. Pretty they teach you about eating healthy and taking care of your body, sex is a subtopic of that. I'm not sure though if they teach you this in Catholic school, although it's possible that the religious ambiance your in is the reason why you haven't been taught it yet.
I'm not surprised, it was a religious school after all. My "sex-ED" was pathetic. My parents gave me a small book and expected me to KNOW EVERYTHING from it. There were so many "plot holes" that I was extremely confused and unaware for many years until I met the Internet. I think if sex-ED is to be taught that it should only be taught by someone who is extremely knowledgeable and has good books on hand.
I had to take a health class in 9th grade. Our teacher taught us how to use a toilet seat cover in a public bathroom properly. o.0
