Is it normal that i never leave my house?

Im a sophmore at my high school and i never leave my house. I wake up, go to school and walk home right after. When i get home i will sometimes wish that i had some really good friends to just go out and hang with but i really dont so ill usually just play video games or drown myself in netflix shows. The only times ill go outside is if my mom makes me... Im not sure if its due to depression as i feel happy half the time and the complete opposite the rest of the time when im alone at home with nothing to do.

    You don't get good friends just by wishing for them. There must be at least one or two people at school you could get to know

    Why don't you put yourself out there, make friends at school. If you really really can't make friends, then chill with a cousin around your age, older if your lucky.

    Or you can be like me, which is basically you, except your school is my job. And your free time is my video games.. which is not a good thing, hence the name.

    Ya I do it to I have few friends so when my bros at work or my gf is at work i just sleep but my bro says im to pretty to keep to my self and i know you are to or handsome your pick lol ;-)
