Is it normal that i never tell any of my friends about my crushes?

I have plenty of friends who I can confide in, but for some reason I can't bring myself to confess about the guy I have a crush on and the relationship that we're beginning to have. It's really weird - I've never been able to talk about this kind of stuff even though my friends do all the time. Even though I do want to talk about him and discuss whether he likes me with my friends, I just kind of find it oddly embarrassing? I didn't even tell them that I went on a date with him and once, when my friend asked if I liked him, I lied and said no even though I totally do! Is there something wrong with me?

    Haha no! I get that. Lot of the time friends especially might pick at you for the people you have crushes on, find something negitve to say and so on, and if you are a generally private person it's not unusual to keep romantic matters to your self sense they are pretty sensitive topics I think that's adorable lol

    Maybe there's something inside you that doesn't trust your friends, or are you perhaps embarrassed by or ashamed of this guy you like?
