It doesn't really happen every time, but sometimes when I make out with my boyfriend I open my eyes just to make sure his eyes are closed... Is it normal?

i keep my eyes open practically always, but not to see if her's are closed, just cause i think she's really pretty
why did I read this in a really cheesy and stupid voice. no offense to you theirs no problem that you do that but it just happened and I fell out of my chair laughing. its 2 AM in the morning, and that was loud... oops.. (yea, I have problems...)

I always keep my eyes open during a Make out session. But only because I'm scared of her Dog.

Sometimes when the kissing gets a little boring we do that for a good laugh, open your eyes as wide as possible and just have a nice laugh about it when they actually take a peak at you
If its any consolation Im a guy and i do the same thing. Everybody has an impulse to know the truth about how their partner feels. Thats just one of those little things caused by it. I wouldn't be surprised if you caught him doing the same thing. Hope this helps!

...but on a side note, i watched a movie once and one of the main people said in it that if you open your eyes while kissing someone, it means you don't love them... BUT I THINK THATTS BOOSHIT!! hahahaha

Just don't make your eyes all bulgy, now that would be creepy. Half open eyes could be sexy, though.

Lol. I myself end to do that with my girlfriend. Idk why but i don't like it when she has her eyes open when we kiss. But when she catches me peeking at her can be a bit weird lol.
there's nothing wrong or unusual with opening your eyes, but why would you open your eyes just to make sure his are closed? that seems weird.
very normal. I do the same thing. I think that if he always keeps his eyes opened is because he doesn't have any true feeling for me. but i'm lucky, most of the time he closes them

Actually I did it once and his were like wide open... it was awkward...he wasn't even looking at me.
Haha dont worry, I think many people do that including myself....i dont actually open both my eyes or even one very much but just enough to see that she has her's closed. I think I also do it because she looks so beautiful when she closes her eyes.

I do that too & there has been several times where his eyes are slightly open when I'm looking, almost as if he is trying to make sure mine are closed!

When someone closes their eyes, it makes me wonder if they're imagining someone else kissing them, or are embarrassed, or best case maybe trying some type of deprivation to make the physical kiss more sensual or something.
Anyway, closed eyes are for the movies. You should enjoy who you're making out with and like watching them, not be embarrassed.
