Is it normal that i pick fleas off my cat, put them in a ziplock bag

I always look forward to going home and grabbing my cats, picking they're fleas off. Putting them in sandwich bags. Collecting them.

Ya need to wash yo pussy cats with flea shampoo, treat yo home fa dat nasty flea infestation.

Seriously, take your cats to the veterinarian and get some Frontline or something like that. Take some responsibility! Those poor little animals are relying on you for their care.

Stop with the stupid OCD flea collection bullshit! If you can't stop then see a therapist about cognitive behavioral therapy and possibly a medical doctor for some medication if necessary. Please, whatever you do, take the care of your pets!

Take your animals to the doctors!!!! You shouldn't take them off by yourself becUse they can get on you as well!! The best thing to do is throw that bag out and take the poor cat to the vet

Sounds like a form of ocd. Other primates use grooming to estabolish closeness and bond. You could be subconciosly trying to make a connection with any living thing. If you feel alone I would bet its the case. And PLEASE get the cats and your home de-flea'd. Fleas carry diseases and cause wounds that get infected. You cannot pick enough out to keep your cats from suffering no matter how obsesivly you groom them. If that idea makes you panic or feel a sense of loss then you need to see someone about Obsesive Compulsive Disorder/syndrome

Just take a couple of them and breed them, far away from your cat.
    Then get your cat cleaned.

Take care of your pet! Would you do this to your child with head live ? If you answered yes you may be a mountain gorilla in a humans body.

I don't have a cat. I was just saying that if this guy liked fleas so much he should breed them, rather than using the cat as a host.

Ugh. This post reminds me of back in 2011. My then dog Blackie got fleas from the neighbors dog, Kevin. After her flea treatments, they all stopped biting her completely and bit ME instead. My arms and legs literally had clusterfucks of flea bites. To get rid of them I had to clean EVERYTHING and bug bomb the shit of the rooms. I've still got some scarring that hasn't faded out on my upper left arm. Get rid of your flea infestation because flea bites are no joke for both you and your pets.

Wow. That was one bullet that was dodged. I've never had bedbugs but I've heard horror stories about how they're the hardest infestation to get rid of.

Hey I like that idea. Are you going to start a flea circus? Or just let them die in the plastic bags?

Collecting them is one thing. But little kitty probably does not enjoy having them suck her blood. Get her a flea treatment soon.

Oh the other thing is, fleas just love to breed and lay thousands of eggs and hatch into many thousands of fleas jumping all around your home... . Been there, done that and it aint fun, let me tell you.

Can you put some flea medicine on them once a month please! That can be a really dangerous to the poor kitty. Plus the fleas lay eggs and mate like crazy. And chances are if they're on your cat they can get on you too. In your bed and in your house and other pets.

Maybe you meant tics ? Because fleas are also very very tiny and you have to usually use a small comb to find them.
