More people on this planet are religious than not, so I guess that makes you normal. I won't bore you with my own feelings because your beliefs are your beliefs.

I know more people that don't do this than do, but praying to god before sleep is pretty common amongst Christians, if that's what you are. So normal :) Don't wait for your prayers to be answered though, go and do what you want to do.
