Is it normal that i prefer my teachers to my family

Hi, bit nervous never done this before, but i've been depressed for two years and my family have no idea, and would never understand but my teachers all know and I have crossed the boundries with the two and i still havent overcome the sadness of losing a part of them. A teacher came to the college and I really like her she is funny and we really get along and I do a lot for her to get attention and to make her like me, but i'm scared that I am goign to ruin this relatioship and lose it, what do I do????

    If you wanted to keep a relationship with a teacher it could be good since many are there to provide support if needed but it has to be plutonic it can't become anything more

    Well actually, i have no idea what you should do...sorry. But if your depressed that could be contributing to your problems, you could try sorting that out first maybe... i gotta admit, getting that close to a teacher can't be healthy, if your gunna go down that road just be careful.
