Is it normal that i pretend a tv camera is following me around?

I used to do it the odd time but these days i do it quite a lot. I do and say things because i think it will look good or cool. I also do this thing where i pretend my class is watching my every move either through my eyes or an invisible camera. I imagine that i will have to sit and watch the footage with them.

    Janice Beard did this too.

I do it too from time to time. Sometimes, I pretend i'm being interviewed or someone has called me up because they want to make a film adaptation of one of my books. A few times, I've fantasied about wearing a disguise and talking to heads of publishing companies about the potential of them publishing my book. They have a few conditions, though, one of which is that I must change a part of the story. This is when I tend to catch myself speaking aloud. I'll firmly tell them that I'm not going to change anything in my books and etc.

I've done other things like pretending to video tape one of my experimental videos or being nerve wracked and having to talk to someone important like the President or Oprah.

I used to do that a lot but slowly I've gotten rid of the habit... I'll occasionally catch myself doing it but I don't stop myself either. I told my brother's fiancé once and she told me to blame it on my creativity but then again she is a very open minded and very spiritual. I am too, just that I believe in one God and she adores Buddha and Mother Nature and things like that. There's nothing wrong with it, it's a boost in confidence and makes oneself feel good, don't you think? At least to me it does and in no way do I think that it's because you feel the need for attention. I say it's completely normal!!!

Maybe you feel like no one pays attention to you. Or that you are really bored and are trying to make your life interesting.

True I suggest that you stop pretending you're in a reality show for MTV and live a real life
