Okay, so lots of times when I'm just chillin or watching TV on the couch, my finger seems to find its way to my bellybutton. I'm not smelling my finger or doing anything sexual. I just seem to have my finger in my navel a lot. Most of my friends have noticed it. My girlfriend has noticed it. Is it normal?

how can you assume OP is a child? and how is it fiddling? maybe he/she is thinking about important world issues and finding the cure for cancer and that is just what they do when they think. i dont think it's childish because i have seen REAL fiddling (my brother has ADHD or ADD or something like that so i know for a fact what fiddling looks like and i dont fiddle but i put my finger in my bellybutton all the time so i dont think you should assume things, doesnt make you look very good.
My husband does this. I asked him why and he said that it is for no particular reason, just a habit. It freaks me out though, kind of in the same way as when people flip their eyelids.
People do things like this all the time. Twist their hair, pull it out, finger their own navels..My hot older sister has a habit of scratching her flat, tanned, bare tummy with her long, polished nails, including a little navel poke, lightly but enough to notice. It's hot to watch, and she does it so often I don't even think she realizes it. Just lifts her shirt up to mid-ribs or so, scratches her bared tummy, and lets the shirt fall back down, sometimes not even re-covering her skin.
I thought belly buttons were kinda sensitive, if i poke mind it hurts my guts. it don't hurt?
It hurts to poke my belly button with my finger or with a Q-tip. I get this weird feeling.
that's weird. but it's one of your habits. Habits usually aren't something people are proud of anyway so, keep it up!
I used to love to pick the lint and siff away at it like one dog on another in heat.
I don't know why but that stinky sweet smelly belly button crud smell was unbelievable!!!!
Haven't done it in years though but now the urge is starting the rise.....
