I think he is the most misunderstood man in Britain. He is articulate and is prepared to admit his many mistakes. However everyone seems to think it acceptable to call him a "chav" or a "thug". on the contrary i find him very likeable.

The only thing i find him guilty of is being to rash and quick in his actions.

    The world needs a player like joey he just puts a huge amount of excitment into the game, whenever i'm watching him i think in my mind'Hes gonna fo sumthing bad

    I quite like him. He isn't scared to show someone what he thinks of them if they're being a dick. I hate it when people hate on him. He gets loads of stick, but he still gets on with his game regardless. He has a real passion for the sport, which a lot of people mistake for a bad temper, which I find rather sad. He has made his fair share of mistakes off and on the pitch, and he has paid a heavy price for them. While he has been a total prick in the past, that is behind him now. Unfortunately, people can't let that go.

    The way he is perceived is more to do with his actions than anything else. He can be as articulate and rueful as he wants, people remember the mess he made of Ousmane Dabo's face.

    I watched Football Focus too and was similarly surprised to hear Neil Warnock's assessment of him. But it has no bearing at all on his violent attacks. Hitler used to paint; it doesn't excuse him.

    Lol when he pulled his pants down at the Newcastle game a couple of years ago was funny but he's been very bad and I personally think he is a stupid man
