It's like every single person that I encounter say that they hate or dislike math (except for Asians lol). I'm like, "it's just numbers. You're either right or wrong. No in between! I love it," and they're like "ew, math" lol. It's starting to make me curious to think liking math is normal.
Math is the single best subject in the world!! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I love math! Integrals, derivatives, infinite series, Laplace transforms, quadratic equations. I just love it all! Next semester I am taking differential equations and linear algebra!
Totally Totally Totally normal! I love math, though i'm about to take advanced calculus which kinda scares me but hopefully that will go well too! It's completely normal and sometimes i just wanna shake people who say they don't like math to make them realize how wonderful math is (though of course I know that won't work since we all just have different opinions and likes and dislikes)!I think the main reason people don't like it is that they're not good at it. I know I don't like things I'm not good at for the most part. Maybe if our educational system taught math better and people practiced more, then a higher percentage of the population would like math (though of course there would still be those people who don't like it even if they are good at it). It's a shame more people don't like math because it's so vital to so many important professions. This also makes me want to shake people when they say they will never use math in the real world and it's not useful at all. Maybe to you it isn't because you're going to become a psychiatrist or a journalist, but then I could say the same for history since i wanna become a scientist.
I enjoy math as well. I enjoy abstract algebra, computing theory, and completing a proof is always a thrill. Normal!
Of course it's normal lol. The modern world wouldn't exist without it.

I think that deep down, everything is fundamentally black and white. it's right, or wrong. At the end of the day, say you're calculating how much fuel, minimum, is required to accelerate a plane to fly. There's no gray area. If you get it right, the plane accelerates. if you get it wrong, the plane will either not accelerate or it will inefficiently use up too much fuel.
You make me sick... Nah, I'm just kidding! But how is it you like math? I hate it because I'm sooo bad at it and it's frustrating. The thing I hate about it most is exactly what you said, you are either right or wrong, and I hate that. I don't like things that are strictly black or white, one or the other. I like to have options. That's why math frustrates me. But if you get a kick out of doing algebraic equations and algorithyms (did I spell that right?) then knock yourself out :-)
its totally normal. they say ewww because they dont like it. like lets say i hate snakes (which i love) and u say u love them ill say ew.

I don't mind it. If you have an articulate instructor/teacher/professor, it helps.
I understand why u like it. Though I don't like math at all because I'm terrible at it. But when I do understand how to do a problem it's kinda fun
I love math. Because its one of those things that you dont need books or microscopes or fancy equipment to work with. Everything involves math, the intouch you are with it the better.
I feel the same way...I love math...it's so simple it's either right or wrong..and it stays the same...2x2 is 4 Always! It's not sometimes 7...
I'm half Japanese and I would rather jump out of a plane (with a chute) than have to go to math class.
