Is it normal that i repeat old conversations to myself when i'm alone?

Sometimes when I'm alone, I start thinking about chats/conversations that I had earlier in the day. When I do this, I usually find myself repeating my side of whatever conversation I had. IIN?

I don't repeat the whole conversation but I might think of something else I wish I had said. Or I might repeat a line out loud because I thought something was funny.

I do this almost everyday, and I thought I was the only one.

I think it is pretty odd if you repeat it out loud... I mean I kinda do this in my head, but would seem a bit weird if you did it out loud... But tbh your not hurting anyone and if it helps you remember things then I would say it's harmless :)

I think it's normal. You are reflecting on events of the day, which means you are thoughtful and probably emotionally sensitive, which is usually a good thing. You're probably also analyzing your responses, too, meaning you probably don't make snap-judgements and are willing to reconsider your opinions, which are also both good traits. Hopefully you'll learn to do this without having to go through the exercise of repeating the memories out loud, which can be embarrassing if you don't live alone.
