Is it normal that i rub my tongue sore over my teeth

When I eat chocolate, a little sore usually starts on the tip of my tongue. Its not a canker sore. I have a habit of gently biting on the sore and rubbing it on my teeth, specially sharper teeth. It hurts but also feels good. I cant seem to snap out of this habit.
