Is it normal that i rub the end of a blanket under my fingernails?

For some reason, ever since I was a little kid I've had the urge to rub the edge of blankets or pillow cases or other cloths under my fingernail. It has always felt comforting to me and I can't really explain why

    When I am reading a book I will press the pages under my nails. I suppose that is fairly similar! I voted normal.

    I do something similar to that, I voted normal, but I don't know if it is. At least you know you're not the only one who does that.
