The dots seem to always be in my view, they aren't like floaters as they don't move when I look at them and they are way too small to be floaters. Also they don't seem to change for what I look at or how close it is in my sight.
Yep off to the eye doctor. You may also have erratic blood pressure. Most good eye docs will check your BP, or if you live in the US, CVS has a free machine in the pharmacy dept. Average normal is around 120/70ish.
2 1/2 years ago I was seeing flashes of light where I knew there should be no flashes. (Cameras, cell phones, headlights,etc.). It turned out I had a torn retina. That was the beginning of my being legally blind. Do not wait to get an appointment with an eye Dr or even a primary care if that is sooner. Don't wait. Losing so much of my independence really sucks. So do what you canto keep your eyesught. It's very important.
