Is it normal that i share food with my dog?

My dog likes popsicles, and I do too. So I'll be eating my popsicle and she'll jump up on my bed or on the couch and start licking it. Well I wasn't done with my damn popsicle so I tell myself that dogs' mouths are cleaner than peoples' and eat the rest of my popsicle as she might beg/sneak another lick. -.- Annoying but kind of cute... Also I kiss her on the nose or mouth not like making out or anything just like idk. Like a kiss on the forehead just on her nose. Is this stuff normal?

    Think about your dog licking it's bottom then maybe u can see how nasty that is.

    To beneficial pest: don't think I'd share with the cat. They carry a couple of very dangerous microorganisms in their mouths. That's why a cat bite is worse than a dog bite. If you want to share, give them little pinches of your food.

    I wouldn't eat from the same Popsicle stick, as a dog eats crap off of the floor and has a dirty mouth, but kissing him on the nose is normal.

    That is totaly normal. I share pancakes and steaks with my dog because he loves them!

    Normal for me.. Just think the mythbusters proved that dogs mouths were cleaner than kitchen sponges etc!! I would recommend not doing it in front of ppl tho, i suspect most wouldnt understand! :)

    Be very careful! Dogs can carry pinworms and other parasites that can easily transfer to you.. Not as bad as cats though, cats are the worst!

    i've never heard of a dog that likes popsicles but i knew they will eat just about anything else. we have cats and one of my sisters lets him sit in her lap and even try to eat her cereal while she is eating it which i think is just plain gross. and both my sisters let him drink the milk when their done and they also kiss him on the forehead :)

    erm, ewww. Might seem cute, but not.. cats and dogs lick themselves to keep clean- and that means bumhole & all.. so be careful :|

    whats the difference between a dog licking their own butt and people licking each others butts and sucking on doodles straight after its been in someones butt?
