Is it normal that i sign up on every website i visit?

When I access a new website (can be either a social network, tech or news site) it feels like I need to have an account there, and every time I'm visiting these these kinds of sites I always look for the sign up form.

    i wanna spend a day watchin tv and changin my car insurance every time a car insurance commercial comes on
