Is it normal that i squeeze my dog?

I have this cute little white dog with the sweetest personality ever. I feel awful but I swear I can’t help it sometimes. I squeeze this poor thing and sometimes I even bite her lol she’s so damn cute I can’t take it sometimes. I feel bad for her because I obviously don’t want to hurt her but this little fluff ball is driving me crazy with her cuteness! I looked it up earlier to see if this is a common thing and low and behold there is something called cute aggression. A study was done at Yale University regarding how folks find things so cute they can’t help but squeeze them lol anyone ever get that feeling? Maybe it’s just because I’m a dog person, who knows

Normal, but not that great for the dog.
I've read somewhere that dogs, and other pets, don't like to be tightly held, since it's restricting them. So if you wanna show your dog affection, give her a nice rub, some treats and play with her. I think she'll appreciate that.

If you all saw this dog, you’d want to squeeze her, trust me lol everyone I’ve met, strangers to friends all want to squeeze her. She looks like a stuffed animal lol

    You little Elmyra Duff! :D

It's normal, I do the same with my dogs but I'm more gentle than her! If you've been playing too hard, blow raspberries instead of biting!

      I got a purple puppy I can't stop squeezing.
He especially likes it when I rub him under his glans....um, I mean his belly. Yeah his belly. That's what I meant.

Its your instinct kicking in . Somewhat connected to raising your own kid .. but yea, you are right about the study. Don't worry about it.
