Is it normal that i stick needles into my skin?

Not acupuncture needles or injections, sewing needles. (They're thicker and not as sharp)

It probably started when I used one to pop a blister. Thereafter I'd prick my skin whenever I had an itch.

It's now progressed into a sort of game where I try see how deep I can push it without feeling pain.
I'm fascinated how some places hurts the moment it makes contact and others I'll push it in more than 1/4 of an inch before feeling anything.

I'm a self-mutilater, and it reminds me of me, so you might want to see someone about this. xP Once you get bored of the needles, you graduate, and it keeps progressing. I started with staples. o.O I'd staple myself in various places, and I know the weird fascination with how certain areas tend to hurt more. Then, I experimented with more things: sticks, rocks, rulers, compasses (like you'd use in math classes), and on up to knives, razors, and even swords (I have an unhealthy habit of collecting sharp things. xD).

Ahem. I ramble (again). Talk to someone. Yeah. :3

It's funny, I used to do this as a kid, (when I was 9 or 10 maybe). You know, just to relieve boredom, experiment with my pain tolerance, etc. I don't think it is necessarily means you have a sickness, or a penchant for self-abuse, but it is still a bad idea, because needles aren't usually very sanitary.

It would be safer to go to a acupuncturist and take up a hobby with them, like sewing.

What you're doing sounds like self-harm which can be very dangerous, so please be careful!

I used to do it with my head, instead of scratching it I'd poke the location with a needle, I wouldn't pierce it though my hair is already FUBAR enough as it is.

No. It is often referred to as a form of self harm, like cutting. Get help.

I like thumb tacks better, They are thicker and you have to push harder.
