Is it normal that i still don't have facebook timeline?

So apparently timeline was being made compulsory like a year ago or something but I still don't have it and don't plan on getting it any time soon, should my facebook have been made to have it by now?

    If I go to my profile, it's there, but I haven't edited and published it yet, so everyone else still sees the old one
