Perhaps somebody living in your home, or a visitor, partially undressed you in your sleep, either to sexually assault you, or just to look at your nakedness. Maybe they started with your shirt and got scared off before going any farther because maybe it seemed like you were waking up.
When I was in my late teens I lived with a family of 7 other relatives for several months. About four different times I woke up in the morning with my underwear (briefs) off my body and MISSING. I never found them.
The first time I thought maybe I had walked in my sleep and left them in the bathroom or something, but couldn't find them. When it happened again and again and again I became convinced SOMEBODY was messing with me in my sleep. I had my suspects, but never any evidence. I was concerned about what they might be doing to me, as well as the fleeting thoughts of what fun I might be missing, depending on who was doing it, but mostly I was concerned about "where the hell is my underwear going to?" I was running out!
I reached 18 and moved out. End of problem. So, I guess it wasn't me walking in my sleep and losing them somewhere, but that's all I know about it. I never mentioned it to anybody and I never heard any of the other 7 people say anything incriminating or speaking of similar experiences.
Maybe it was a "succubus"!
It happened one night and that was it. My shirt was in a neat pile beside my head. I dont believe anyone would do that to me.
I think if somebody else took your shirt off while you were sleeping they wouldn't bother to put it "neatly", they would just throw it or drop it. A girl (you) would probably fold or lay the shirt neatly after removing it. I think you took your shirt off and laid it neatly, perhaps because you were too warm, or because you were responding to something in a dream.
You may not realize this, but perhaps someone made an attempt to sexually assault you!
