Is it normal that i talk to my dead cat in heaven?

I have three cats - Claire, Abby and Missy. Claire died on February 27, 2009 at the age of six from unknown causes, but I still count her as one of my cats because I talk to her in heaven every day. She died the night before my birthday so it was tears of sadness one day and then tears of joy the next because it was my birthday. She's still mine and I'll always do this but do other people do this too?

I'm sorry to hear you lost a member of your family, because it certainly sounds as though your cat was a part of the family. Talking to her maintains your connection to her, and helps keep the memories alive. Ignore the idiotic comments here from people just looking to troll, and do what you need to in order to find peace.

How do you know Claire went to heaven? Maybe she didn't.

Not normal in my personal opinion. I'm Atheist however if you read the bible it states animals don't go to heaven.

I know how you feel. I lost my cuddles 4 years ago & I still miss her. she would climb the stairs with me at night & sleep under my chin until morning. she truly earned her name. Its ok to talk to her in heaven just like it is any loved one. a week ago had to give up three dogs that I loved very much all because I moved & couldn't keep them. I know that one went to the adoption center but have no idea about the other two. I sure hope they are ok.

A lot of people talk to loved ones who have passed, although most people never talk about this in public(they think people will say they're mad). So why wouldn't you talk to your cat? My first cat passed away when I was 12 and I never got over it. He was very special to me. I used to talk to him, when I sat next to his grave. I don't do it any more (it's been eight years) but maybe I would if he would have died recently...

If you're over the age of 13, that definitely isn't normal. And if over 18 you should really be focused on looking like a hot piece of ass instead of looking like an ass talking to dead animals.
