Is it normal that i talk to myself when alone?

When I'm alone (which is most of the time), I speak seemingly random sentences. I don't say anything coherent, mostly just cryptic bullshit. Also, I never know what I'm about to say before I say it. Things just come out of my mouth, and it's often quite disturbing to me once I think about what has been said. Is this normal or is it a sign of a mental disorder?

In the case of "is it normal to talk to yourself" it definitely depends on what you're saying.

In your case, it's not normal.

I do this all the time. It's kind of annoying, especially since I am a pedophile and a Satanist, as I never know who might overhear some of what I say. I have control over it, but it can be worrisome.

    It's not a bad thing.

I dont think its normal. My 6 year old does the same thing. When I ask him about it or ask what he was just saying he would tell me he didnt say anything at all! And then he also does the opposite thing. When I ask him a question he will saty mute and when I ask again he will respond by saying I just told you mom! When I tell him no words came out of his mouth and his lips didnt make any movement he would argue that he did. Schools, Friends, Family and Other people around him have witnessed this.

what sort of things do you say? Maybe these are messages from the subconscious (like dreams) You could try noting them down in a journal to look for a deeper meaning.
