Is it normal that i tell others i like the wars

If you like something, for example an online web game, will you tell others? I will and I have done just like that.In some game forums, I posted some articals which said The wars was a good web game.
I thought it should be normal in most people's eyes. However, there were some guys who queried my action. I was confused.
If you like something and tell others your feeling, is it wrong? Why they will think that I had another purpose, for example, I hoped that the thing I said it was good will be puplized, propagandized, praised and extoued.
I still remember that the new web game-"The Wars", there were filled with different kinds of topics, bad or good from the various game forums after it has entered the Open Beta Test. Some players who have played it told others that this game was good and funny and adviced that they can have a try. But it caused some bad reviews too. I don't know why. when you found some good games, don't you want to share with others? why do we distort others'good purpose?
