Is it normal that i think in cartoons?

Is it normal that I always imagine out what someone says really literally, so that I see it almost like a cartoon in my head?

For example, my art teacher said to my friend "don't paint every single strand of hair or she'll look like she has spaghetti hair" and I had the sudden image in my head of my friend with spaghetti for hair XD

I am quite artistic but I haven't come across anyone that thinks like me yet so yeah.... I think I'm quite strange.

    Yeah these are just mental images with your imagination coming to the fore. Particularly normal when someone is using colourful language to describe something.

    I think this is a bit odd. When you'll be thinking about making love and you'll have a fantasy with someone naked, the one will have a leaf in their genital area as they show in cartoons?:))

    Thats awesome. Some of my everyday is so stupid and funny it could be a cartoon. Now if you'll excuse me, i have to go hit someone with a hammer and blow up some TNT.

    This is cool, i'm jealous. My mental images aren't that creative, but i'm sure if tried I could see it.

    Be kinda scary if every thought was like that though.

    seeing cartoon images in your head, normal, now for every thought in your head to be a cartoon, all the time? maybe not so much. Interesting though. Incidentally, does every thought of yours have a mental picture to go with it, cause it Sounds like you are a visual thinker. Sometimes, i see cartoon images, but i can "see" in any style at will.

      Yeah i kinda exaggerated a bit. Its not exactly every single thought but it is a lot of the time. It can be other mental images but its mostly cartoons just cos it makes everything funnier!

    I have this sometimes too. Not imagining what people say in cartoons, but when I would close my eyes to sleep at night, I would see a lot of cartoons running around acting out all my crazy uncontrollable thoughts.. It was actually relaxing

    Its just a young enthusiastically wild imaginative out of control mind.
    Generally most kids under 10 have it.

    If you are older than 10, then hang onto those thoughts, because when they go, people just become normal boring real people. Its REALLY sad (huge cartoon sad face, showing I'm sad, but actually laughing on the inside)

      Well having the mind of a less than 10 year old isn't exactly promising haha but oh well (I'm definitely older than 10 by the way)
