Is it normal that i think of them everyday?

I've moved away from home 4 months ago. I have 6 cats back home (originally two cats then they had 4 kittens- They've been with me for two years now). One of my cats I'd taken off the street and the other was being mistreated by an owner so I took it home and that's basically how it all started. I miss them so so so so much I can't even explain it. I think about them everyday and when I'll get to see them next. Whenever I skype with family I always ask them to put them on cam so I could see them, it just makes me happy and feel less homesick if that makes sense. Is this attachment normal?
