Is it normal that i think religion is a tool being used by aliens.

The great pyramids and other great monuments all went up around the same time? Scientist and archeologists have come to believe that our intelligence greatly increased or leaped in a short period of time. Humans are amazing, we just seem to not stop creating, inventing and becoming ever smarter. I just wonder if this couldnt have been influenced by not a made up god, but a plausible extraterrestrial entity. That our evolution has molded, our history and more
especially our religious beliefs. It's not easy for most ppl to not want to believe in some thing supernatural like karma, destiny and god. Can our minds have been pushed to be more intelligent and "struts" be put in place as for us to not collapse mentally. can religion be a set of training wheels for our advancement to one day
a wars like future where we communicate and share technological advancements with other civilizations across the cosmos. Atheism is increasing, the bible says when this happens it means the end is near and "god" is finally coming.

    Well, you're definitely right about religion being used as means of controlling people, but I'm not really convinced on the alien aspect here.

    ONe more thing I didnt mention in my previous message. The one thing that there is proof of is the fact that there is lack of proof on the subject at hand and it is this lack of proof that leads to war due to disagreements being made with one another. The simple fact is nobody is right and nobody is wrong because theres no proof. THe important thing to remember though is not fight over anything and to remain religiously or non religiously tolerant of one another and if there is a God Im sure he wouldnt want people to fight in the name of religion. So the only thing I try to teach in my class is not religion itself but rather religious tolerance and just a simple tolerance of one another no matter what anyone believes.

    I am a religions teacher at a college and after all of my years of studies I have now come to the conclusion that I dont know about anything. I wouldn't discount any belief weather it be aliens or anything else. I studied so much and have heard so many theories now I dont know anything about nothing but am always open. Anything is possible. The thing about teaching this subject is theres just no proof. I sure wish there was though because I get so many questions as if I actually know the answer as to what happens in the afterlife. But nobody knows or has proof so nobody has the right to say your theory isnt normal or right for that matter.

    you got it wrong buddy.. u denounce religion.. where is your proof that it's all fairy tales.. atheists never provide me with solid evidence that religion is all made up.. PROVE IT

      Answer me a simple question. what kind of evidence would you like because nothing ever seems to satisfy you people. we take genes from a chimpanzee and prove it shares 98% of our DNA, But you will still find something wrong with that. We uncover bones of creatures that look smack in between a Human and an "ape like creature", but its still not enough. the most brilliant explanation i've had for dinosaurs and our ape ancestors bones from a christian was that "The devil planted it too trick all of us"!

      Your problem is that you are stubborn and are simply afraid to think on your own because your religion black mails you from using your brains! There is no hell nor heaven just a fairy tale to keep a weak and unstable mind from collapsing on itself.
