Is it normal that i think religious people should die?

I believe we need to rid of all the unintelligent idiots who's lives revolve around the idea of an omnipotent being who floats in the clouds above us. Not just that religion mind you, thats an example. there is a large variety of other religions of which i despise. (I won't go into why but you can probably infer) I don't like being around people who are open about their religion too. Is this normal?

        Although I am a woman of faith, I happen to know an atheist who is a very kind, sweet and generous man! Self righteous atheists are just as bad as religious fanatics. Ignorance and hypocrisy don't discriminate.

      dinz OP is not making atheists look bad. They are making the entire human race look bad. People like this should not be able to live in society. They should be banished. The fact society still produces trash like this makes us all look very bad. Killing someone based on religion/non-religion, race, physical disability and sexuality is the sign of a savage.

    Well I'll start this by saying I'm not religious, I am agnostic. You however are just as bad as every bible thumping in your face fanatic out there.

    Some religious people take their religion way too far, some do horrible things in the name of religion, and some are just plain obnoxious about it. However you have proven in this post that you are no different by shoving your lack of religion" in everybody's face. In addition, I believe we have covered the "do horrible things" part with this article title.

    I'm hoping for the sake of my faith in humanity that you are a troll.

    Some religious people are bad, yes. But why don't you just show them how to behave and be a nice, respectful person? You can't counter hate with hate, you'll just achieve the exact opposite.

    Basically, your being quite radical about this. I know, because I am in that state right now. I wouldnt mind a war between them and us, just saying. It is better that you learn to deal with it, because they will be around for quite some time.

    Religion is very much like a mind disease. In the first stage(childhood) you are willing to believe anything, just because important people(your parents and teachers, mostly) say so. When you grow up, you will have a little room for yourself.(puberty, stage two). You will rebel against common things, which allows you to observe, study, form an opinion on things. This is the most crucial stage, as this decides what kind of person you will become. Being demanded by your parents to go to church or so, will generally make you just like them. I just happened to be 'free' during this stage, which helped me. When you have formed an opinion, stage three begins. I consider people who are in the beginning of stage three 'misguided', and people later in stage three as 'lost'. Children and early teenagers can be saved from a life forced upon them, but later on, they are considered 'lost'.

    Think of my acts as you wish, but do not doubt the reality. For the realisation has already begun, and you are hopeless to stop it.

    Killing Christians for being Christian is the same as the Salem witch trials. Please wake up and realize what time you are in. People have advanced past the point of hunting witches.

    So if you want to get ride of the ignorant fools you have to start with yourself. Witch hunts are no longer necessary and most people today are intelligent enough to realize this kind of thing is stupid.

    I believe religion is a mental illness, if I told you I believe there are invisible flying unicorns that guide me through life people would think I'm crazy and send me to an insane asylum. what makes these religions any different? ( this is a rethorical question )
