Is it normal that i treat my umbreon like a real pet?

I took my trusty level 100 Umbreon to my Pokéwalker while taking it to the Refreshing Field and I start treating it like its my pet, considering Umbreon kinda looks like a cat so I treat it like as if it is a real one. I make sure I walk my Umbreon it is sure good exercise though. If Umbreon was real I'd keep it as my pet and treat it like a cat.

The good side it is losing weight by walking with the Pokéwalker while smiling at the screen.

    i bought onea them wavin cats for my sister at narita airport

    i believe shes been feedin it batteries faithfully

    Half my tamagotchi have starved to death so no I dont treat them like normal pets.

      Actually it is not a shiny, it is one I had transferred from Pokémon Colosseum. He travelled a long way from my Gamecube to my DS.

      He is a pure beaut. Though I am planning on getting a shiny version of him.

        Awesome! I used to treat them like pets, back when I played Pokémon silver. My favorites were furret, pidgeot and bellosom.
