I grew up in a foreign service family, and i moved around every so often. is it normal that i want to have an ordinary job, life, apartment...etc?

    Yeah that sounds completely normal. Giving yourself an ordinary life can be a great gift.

      Thanks! I just finished college and i am debating whether to join the foreign service, just cause I get very fidgety every year or two, cause thats when i would move. Just dont know if i can take being in the same place for a long time.

    Sounds like your circumstances weren't ideal for you, but now that you're an adult (?) you can create that life for yourself.
