Is it normal that i want to choose cloud computing over java ?

so i am in my 2nd year in Bca and i dont like programming much when i was in 1st year i learned C++ and C and i kinda failed in them both, but i can Clear them in 2nd year and now my 2nd year started recently and i dont know if i should take Java or cloud computing
we got choices we can choose one i know i dont learned shit in c plus plus properly i never wrote a code of my own i just copy and remember them if i can, and i ddn't attain any java lectures
when our college stared 1 month back so is there anyone who can help me Btw my dad says quit college we got money problems :(

      I know how idiotic of me i know very well but I am better than some of the students here they have failed all their exams while i passed but my only fault is that I don't study properly. but i got a job now and i am learning c and java and also a guitar but now i undersatnd the basics properly :D

    Java is going to be C++ all over again, if you hated C++ you'll likely hate all C descended object oriented languages.

    Also, unless you're in a third world country I'd change majors, programming, and most of IT in general is very easy to outsource.

        If you are bad at programming stay away from both. Java is well... Java, it is a language. Cloud Based Computing requires NET framework skills (C#) beforehead which is ALSO programming. It also require mobile app development knowledge and basic networking skills.

        But programming is generally the most important technicall skill required for both.

        So if you suck at it, stay way from it. Try something that requires more "Informational knowledege" than logic such as networking.

          Yes, i have informational knowledge about computer workings and specially about hardware and i know all the latest news about technologies.
          My dad says that he thinks i should do hardware related work and study it more cuz i am good at it.
          i finished my 1st year but it was not that good and our financial status is bad now so should i do job for 1 or 2 year and then think about my education ? please help me sir.
