Is it normal that i want to kill myself when the dog barks?

So my girlfriend has this dog. And I think its going to be the death of me. She barks at everything. She begs constantly. But honestly, every single time the dog barks at the most insignificant sound, I get the urge to blow my brains out.
And the dog is so bull-headed I really believe she is untrainable to anything obedience related.

    Try suggesting a bark collar. We had this same problem, and it really helped.
