Is it normal that i want to rebel against the schooling system?

I hate the schooling system so much.
I hate the fact that I'm stripped of originality.
I hate the fact that I'm not allowed to voice my own opinion, but I am told what I need to say in order to "succeed"
I feel like I am being trained and completely insignificant in a mass of other kids being told what to do.
Is it normal that I hate school to such an extent that I'm beginning to wonder whether I should rebel against it and refuse to attend?

    We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
    Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! teachers! leave the kids alone!
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

I don't agree with the current schooling system either. But not going as a form of rebellion is kinda pointless. The point of rebelling is to get noticed and fight for change. Not going to school, no one will notice or care.

A kind word, [kinda] is not a word.
There are many different kinds of things.
This kind of thought, beauty brings.
      Indelibly kind, haven't you heard?

Why would refusing going to school make you feel any less insignificant? You'd just be either hanging around on the streets or sitting around at home. That's not significant, that's even less significant than school makes you feel.

Suggestion: Find a way to express yourself outside school so your life doesn't feel so stifled by it. Join a sports team or play an instrument or make art or write or get a decent job. Even if you still feel how you do at school, you can give yourself something outside school to feel better about it.

Does your school have a counsellor or someone you can talk to about how you feel?

Refusing to go to school under the age of 18 and not having a job can land you in court, get you a court designated worker, inability to get a license or permit until the age of 18, legal curfew, and as a minor you can be charged with defiance of authority.
Take it from me, you don't want to get mixed up in our court systems. Your name will always be on file.

I think the bigger issue here is the set up. Schools are not always safe or productive. They feed the children the cheapest shit. Since when did hot lunch become cold? I mean is a cold salad really hot lunch? I also think lunch ladies/men should actually cook instead of getting this prepackaged, prepacked shit they feed to children. Not attending FORCED school anymore. Since I graduated. How they waste money and how they do not focus on making everyone able to learn.

Everything before University is almost completely pointless/useless as far as education goes. Math and writing/grammar are the only things necessary to be taught. Other than that, the main reason for preschool - 12th grade is to learn about yourself, develop a personality, learn how to interact and socialize with people, and make friends

But even then, a lot of the time when you get a degree, the job you take won't require you to use any of the things you learned (they will teach you all of the necessary skills needed for the specific job), they just want to see that you had the drive and determination to get a ~4 year degree.

Do something to change it or do something more fulfilling in your life. Leaving school, unless you're a special snowflake with some good ideas and knowledge of how to market them or a shit load of talent, is pointless. I have too many friends that thought leaving school was a bright idea who are struggling to find jobs and feed their kids right now because most employers won't hire anyone without a high school diploma. Leaving is pointless.

I dislike the school system as well, but I know that I need to go to school and do well because employers look for people who have gone to college.

it's normal to feel institutionalized. As someone who is in his late 20's let me offer you my hindsight, get a good education. You won't regret it.

I feel that the education system, in the future, needs to be more integrated with other facets of society.
Rather than it being an institution apart from commerce, industry, politics, law, pure and applied sciences, information technology, etc,. it should be a part of these things.
This would include training young people towards responsibility in societal affairs. This would mean that children and adolescents would earn rights to have a say in issues which affect them, either directly or indirectly, based on their developmental level.
