Is it normal that i want to start my life over after high school?

I currently live in the US, in Alabama. I'm smart and could get a scholarship, but is it normal that instead I want to pack up my car and drive to California and just live there? Even though I know I'd be poor and not know anyone... thats the appeal! To make it on my own, see new things, meet new people. In this sleepy little town everyone already knows me, I want to be a new person to new people! I realize this isn't the best future, but is it normal for me to want it?

    DO IT! I'm totally serious. I've been in college for a while and I wish I did that right after high school. You have no obligations to be free and enjoy this world. Go for it! The world is your oyster!!

    I'd love to start my life over... If only I could relive it without Asperger's! (And why not? It didn't make me into the next Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, or Gary Numan... Or anyone else who received gifts of science, technology, art, and/or musical proficiency!)
