Is it normal that i wish i was 13 again

i sometimes think that their is no other purpose in life for me which brings me to wish that i was 13 again because i had no responsibilities and noone was really relying on me for anything important and was probably the best year of my life.

Naw. Not for me. I just can't do school again. Maybe age 4 or 5. And made mud pies, catch butterflies, race my friend to see who can run faster, blow dandelions and make a wish, lay on the grass and make animals out of the clouds.

It's totally normal. Hey, when you are 13, you are still in school, and you have no responsibilities. You reach 18, you graduate high school, and it's time to get a job, your own place, etc. A lot of responsibilities start to creep up, then. I know exactly what you are feeling. I wish i was 13 again, too!!

I don't. My younger years were some dark times. I was naive about sex and life. I was very ignorant and silly. My childhood wasn't good so, why go back to relive all of the pain?

Yes it is absolutely normal. Many people want to be free of responsibility, which will make it much easier to enjoy life. May I ask how old you are now?

I dunno , I didn't have a real good childhood. I didn't like being a kid . I did tho also have some really great times to tho and plenty , that weren't so great. But the sooner I could grow up and be my own boss in life the happier I'd be.
But , being grown up has plenty of it's own bs too that's for sure. I don't think I'd wanna go back but I would like to stop right here or soon.

No way I'd go through puberty and teenage angst again! Besides, 13 is an unlucky number! If you liked it the first time why risk going back and possibly spoiling that? Let good memories be and work on creating new ones!

    yup, definitely would be fun.
I would enjoy to have all the knowledge i have now, but start over from, say, 10 years of age. Maybe as a boy, to spice things up.

not that i'm unhappy with my life, far from it, but i'd still take the offer ^_^

Same here. Growing up is pretty tough, but it has some fun in it.

I wish i could go back to the days when i could look in the mirror and not be so judgemental of myself.

You know, I actually remember you from your post awhile ago. I think that you should compliment yourself more. Instead of looking in the mirror and critiquing yourself. Forget what people say and try to imagine that there is an alternate version of yourself who is happy with his self-image, now imagine that you are that version.

Yeah you're right maybe if I look at myself in a more positive way things will change. Thanks ill start doing that.

I'd like to go back to about 10/11 again. Those were good times. I was such an outgoing child. I was so happy all the time, and I never cried or anything back then. It was like nothing phased me. I also would like to go back, because I miss some of the people who were apart of my life back then.
