Is it normal that i write my best porn when i'm distracted?

I write porn/erotica, and I've found that I do my best work when I'm distracted by something else and not really focused on what I'm writing. For example, when I wrote my most recent story, I was watching the Daily Show the whole time and not really thinking about what I was writing.

When I try to focus on my writing, I just get locked up and can't think of anything! Why do I have to be distracted to write this? I can easily focus on other types of writing.

Anyone else have this problem?
