Is it normal that i write what i hear/see?

Ok, I know this sound really wierd but when I hear/see/think about a word my finger starts writing it. If I'm holding something e.g a pencil/pen I write with that (with the lid on) either on my lap or in the air or on a table. If I'm not holding anything I start writing anywhere. It is really wierd because If it's not my finger then I start moving my leg or my body in the position of the letter. :s It's really wierd. :(

    yes, i do it too.
    though my parents do wonder why i'm constantly writing "PENIS PENIS ANAL CUPCAKE PENIS YUMYUM TESTICLE"
