Is it normal that i write what i want to say?

Ok, so i have this book and i write down things that i want to say in the future. Lets say ill watch a movie and i really like a scene, ill write down the dialogue and visualize myself acting it out and sometimes ill read it out loud. Its all random though, like quotes, jokes, questions, conversation starters, observations and i even have comebacks and insults if i ever need to use them. I figure its kind of like my verbal arsenal. lol i think its so cheesy, I only do it because I'm shy and i want to develop my personality, become more social and avoid any awkward moments if possible.

I would never show anyone my book and no, its not a journal. Ive actually used a lot of the material I've written down and it seems that it works. Would it be weird if someone found my "script"? :S

Is it freaking normal!?

Ps: Im a girl btw, not that it matters...

I don't write things down, but I sort of have a 'mental script'. I think it's good that you are trying to break out of your shell :)

I have a text document on my hard disk where, if I see or hear something amazingly funny, I note it down in there. Not generally to use in the future because my memory for jokes is so bad, I'd never remember any of them. I guess I just play things by ear and conversations work themselves out.

You seem like an intelligent girl so perhaps you'll do the same thing too, when you gain the confidence to do that.
