Is it normal that im in love with a girl i met in a chatroom?

I met a girl in a chatroom and we started chatting and became friends. We talk on MSN now and also have each others mobile number. We have been chatting for 11 months but have never met. Also she doesnt have a webcam or digital cam so i have only ever seen one pic of her face. We talk everyday and I feel close to her and she tells me the same. Is it normal that I think I am in love with her?

    Sure it's normal, but remember, we can be whoever we wish to be in chatrooms. The best test of character is to watch how people treat others. Never date a person who is mean to a waiter or other service provider.

    It is normal I met multiple people online and even dated some just be careful because not everyone is who they say they are. Some people are crazy enough to talk to a person for years until finding out they been catfished.

    This is happened to me quite a few times before. (My Asperger's makes me far more likely to meet interesting women online than offline!)

    This sort of occurrence is only becoming more commonplace with the increased popularity of the Internet. I too went a few years before I saw a picture of the woman that became my love interest. (I never pressured her for a picture, and she had a good reason not to openly display pictures of herself online to begin with.) The feelings were strong enough that I didn't care what she looked like, anyway. I'm hard pressed to think I'll ever know anyone so exciting, and I'm sure you feel the same way about this particular girl.

    I won't comment on love. But one thing to look out for. 11 months & no video/only one pic? Really? She's so into you yet she can't afford a $20 camera? Ask yourself, how hard was it for YOU to get one? not saying I know anything of your situation, just say ing that's a little suspicious. She might not be who she says she is. Just maybe. Be careful.

      i argee u should met her, however u have to do it. I myself am susceptible to this, but feels now can change if u can never be togather, and then it get akward, then u dont talk for awhile, then she dates some creeper instead of letting u move out there, then u help her with the break up, but then ur in a relationship, then u break up, then u sit a wonder if she just ur friend or still likes u, Then she only send u mixed messages and constanly complains about how she doesn't have a bf and ur guess really confused and then ur me.... sry where did the come from.... O_o

      i know, but she seems hesitent and also she is in a different country. Not far but over water so would involve a flight.
