ok so when i was 12 i got a pet cockatiel i loved her soooooooo much 1 day my stupid dad let her out the cage and i was to busy with hamsters she flew out the window and im still not over it is it normal that i still cry about it. *(i am an overly sensitive person)

It's normal to get very attached to our animal companions. They offer us so much, especially if we are lonely or have a special relationship with them. It can be very painful and can pain you at some point for a very long time. Time makes it better. Just know that he's had a good chance to be free and cherish the time and memories you have. They will exist in our hearts and minds and one day, those memories will make you smile.
I dont appreaciate the mean comments people. Because im so overly sensitive her dieing was like my mum dieing. i wouldnt care if my dad died cause i hate him
