I miss television of the 90's, especially Nicktoons. I wish they would bring them back. Tv today is shit.
I was born in 83. I remember fraggle rock, you can't do that on television( the original sliming), g.i. Joe, doug, rugrats, ren and stimpy (favorite), he-man, and asian blackmarket smut porn.
I was born in 79. I was totally into all that except the smut porn. I loved "You Can't Do That On Television". I looked it up on YouTube a couple of months ago and it was horrible. The stuff we like when we're kids lol.
Haha. Joking about blackmarket porn. Yeah, there's certain nostalgia about our youth that we perceive things to be better than they actually were. I broke out my original nintendo they other day though, that was fun just for memories sake, but it just doesn't have shit on the xbox for entertainment.
just 2 let u know, my fav is not one of those u just listed (hint:it starts wif an i)
Inspector gadget! Hahaha. That was one of my favorites too. That inept moron always had penny and brain thwarting dr. Claw's evil plans under the impression that is was due to his own heroics. Dammit, i'm gonna have that theme song stuck in my head all day! Go! Gadget go! Dunna da dun da dun.
Omg me too! I love the nickelodeon started playing the 90's shows again late at night. I watch it EVERY single night. Doug, Kenan and Kell, All That. 90's were the good days. :)
Who_fan4life, did someone drop u on ur head when u were born? I was born '92 and I am sooooo a '90's baby an remember allllll those shows! That seems retarded that u don't remember...anyways don't worry! It's totally normal! Shows just aren't the same anymore! Lol
No one dropped me on my head lol. I think most people misinterpreted what I had said.
My friend and I were talking about this exact topic the other day! When I say a 90's person, I'm talking about people who WEREN'T the ages from toddler up to the start of adolescence.
I'm sorry, but when you're a little kid, and you're like 5, 6, 7 years old etc your life is limited to school, your house, and that's basically about it. I consider a person to be a 90's person when they experienced it when they were a teenager. Especially when your life ''opens up'' aka more responsibilities and experiences. I hate it when someone is like ''I saw some of those shows in the 90's'' and then just labels themselves as a 90's person.
ALSO, another great reason why I resent when people say that is, they ONLY remember shows that were on TV, basically. What about other things that were going on? What about politics, state of the economy, pop culture?
That's why I don't even consider myself to be a 90's person. I even hate to say it, but I was a product of the 2000's.
Just my take on the whole thing.
Who loves orange soda? >name< loves orange soda! Is it truuue? Mmm Hmmmmmmmm I do I do I do oooo!
I still say this whenever I drink orange soda ^.^
Turn to "Teen Nick" after 10pm. They have a kind of a block called 90's are all that in which they are showing all the good old shows :)
Same here , I can't get enough of the Amanda show and all that especially on the Amanda show the segment "the girls room" where Debby says I like eggs haha
The 90's had great cartoons, and great rock as well. Also, if anyone says I'm not a 90's kid, I'll respond with a curt F*CK YOU! (But without the star of course...)
How about the show Pinkie and the Brain? I know it wasn't on nickelodeon, but I remember watching it daily after school when I was a kid. Good stuff.
