I gasped a couple of times when The Woman appeared out of nowhere, but it wasn't *that* scary. I liked it better than most "scary films" though; it felt quite clever as opposed to most scary films which seem to be designed to be scary and nothing else, which is very dull :P I preferred the stage play though, which I thought was brilliant.
EDIT: Oh, and it's normal to be scared of it. That's the point after all :P
I personally found the movie to be extremely dull and the woman to be kinda scary but still dull. Although if you want to see a really good "horror" movie then I suggest watching "The Cabin in the Woods" it was written by Joss Whedon and it has a pretty good twist at the end.
I didn't really like that film. Im a horror fan but there's so many bad films out there. Thats why i got exited for this as everyone was saying how original it was. In my opinion it was basically a scream film with a gaping plot hole
Spoiler ahead. Its not at all movie destroying but it just shows lack of thought and for some reason it really bugged me. They stated at the end of the ffilm that you need a jock, a slut, a virgin and a jester. But one of the tests being carried out by them was at a lower school in japan. So that means one little kid was a whore and only a one of them was a virgin? and it wasn't footage from the past before they learn't who you need, it was happening then. It was just one of many things that grated on me.
The remake of "The Woman in Black" starring that drunk, dipshit no-talent Daniel Radcliffe SUCKED! He looked like a refugee from freaking Skid Row all through the movie. And the ending, OMG! He and his kid get killed by the train and then their spirits supposedly meet his dead wife but they are BREATHING! You can actually see the vapors from their breath. NEWS FLASH: Ghosts don't breathe!
If you want to see a really, truly terrifying movie, watch the original 1989 version of "The Woman in Black" starring Adrian Rawlins. You'll want to sleep with the lights on after seeing this one!
You dumbasses. Watch the original one first! That was scary! Not the Harry Potter edition one..
Yeah the first lady sucks ass she just eats McDonalds all day the obesity.
too me it wasn't scary. Sinister is another film loads of people are talking about but that was even worse
