so i can use it for twitter and is it normal and tumblr and other sites just so my friends won't discover what im really like? i use a fake name and spread my secrets all over the internet. im afraid that if my friends find out its me they will humiliate me and know what im truly like.
is it normal?
I partially admire people that are 100% honest about every aspect of their life, every fetish, every guilty secret, every drunken lapse, every embarrassing moment. But the other side of me thinks that if they're capable of owning up to it all, they've obviously led a very boring life.
In short, we all need some privacy from some people. Friends know us in different ways and I'd tell a girlfriend things that I wouldn't say to someone I once went to school with. As long as you're not overly secretive about absolutely everything, I think it's fine.
Clearly they are not your friends if they dont know what you are like. Its cowardice to hide behind a fake email so you can be yourself.
