Is it normal that most spiders scare me but im fine with tarantulas?

I have a deathly phobia of spiders ,but Tarantulas don't scare me at all. In fact I think some Tarantulas are kinda cute. I would probably let one crawl up my arm to be honest. With other spiders i can't stand to be near them. Maybe it's because they are furry unlike other spiders IDK Is this normal?

For me, I'm not really "creeped out" by spiders, but I do jump a little bit when i first notice them. Tarantulas are different though, and I'm not sure why. They seem to be detached from spiders, probably because they are less common, and they are rather fascinating. Also, because they are a lot bigger than regular house spiders, they might appear more personified (for lack of a better word), lowering your guard.

I have a pet tarantula, and lots of other creepy crawlies. I'm totally fine with them. But something about the tiny spiders freak me out. I'd much rather have 50 tarantulas on me than 50 small spiders. I guess it doesn't really make sense but I've always felt that way

I'm terrified of all but the smallest spiders.

I find scorpions oddly cute though idk why. They don't scare me

tarantulas are essentially older precursors to spiders, not spiders themselves, so it may make sense not to have arachnophobia with them

I am not too sure about this one. I think it's just because you're different, in a good way. :)
