Hmm... It seems I read this wrong. When you act and dance on stage (how do I put this?) it's like you put on a disguise. You aren't faking your talents. It's like being on stage gives you this feeling that you can accomplish anything as long as you wear this disguise. However, when you are just talking the disguise evaporates. There is no role and the only thing left is you. Because the disguise is gone you no longer have any added support. Does that make sense?

It's perfectly normal. When I used to do ballet I had very little fear of being on stage. I fleet perfectly at home but then sometime after I was pulled out of ballet, I started to develop stage fright:/ I'm sure there are ways to help her overcome her phobia. Look it up on online.

Singing, Dancing, and Acting give you what I call a "Stage high" If you're talking instead of acting, etc., you are simply you, they can judge you as you are for the meaning of your words, as opposed to acting, singing, and dancing, in which the content is created by someone else, hence you can only be judged for your talent which, in acting and such can improve greatly over a short time. At least that's my experience, granted that I've only acted and given presentations, I haven't danced though and I've only sung in choir.
Anyhow she probably just really loves to act, sing, dance ^^
