Is it normal that my autistic friend is fascinated by lorenzo odone?

She has Autism and is super sweet, I'm her friend and personal caregiver, we have so much fun together. Lately, she has been fascinated by Lorenzo Odone's story. I have shown her a lot of stories about him and even the film (Lorenzo's Oil) I think it's sweet and also great that she is learning about someone as brave as Lorenzo Odone! But some people say it's not normal and it makes her sad. What do you think?

      She just adores Lorenzo Odone! We thank you for your comment. :) I gave her a picture of Lorenzo Odone which hangs on our fridge, she usually holds it or sits and looks at it, I ask her who it is and she'll say "Lorenzo." :)
