Is it normal that my bf is sneaking food behind my back

We're both trying to lose weight and I've been doing all the cooking, and recently I noticed ketchup stains on his shirts. Since I make all our food including lunch I think he's getting fast food. I also noticed a bunch of french fries under his car seat that tasted pretty fresh. When I confronted him he denied it and immediately accused me of my midnight snacking on the candy stash we have in the garage. Well I think he has also been snacking on it because I notice the pile getting way smaller. Is this dishonesty normal behavior for someone trying to lose weight?

You ate a french fry you found under the car seat? That's hard core.

    • I ate all of them but that's not the point.

Lol, I'm not sure why I found your comment so funny. But this is not helping your case.

  • It sounds like he's having a hard time adjusting to the new diet. i'm not saying you should pity him because he shouldn't lie and keep secrets from you, even if it is just about food. If I were you I'd tell him to quit bullshitting and if he doesn't want to get fit, that's his problem. Besides, it's not like he can hide it from you forever when you start to get thinner and more toned and he doesn't lose a pound. It seems normal, just kind of sad.

Wow. He sounds sloppy as fuck. Stains? Dropping food? Common .-.

Anyways, maybe he's just still hungry, so he eats. Maybe he's going though some shit, so he eats. Maybe he's driving home and is like "mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Dat mc wendies king smellz good." so he eats.
